Creating the Lives We Desire -

A Bi-Coastal, NVC Queer (LGBT) Weekend

with Kristin Masters & Dian Killian

Hello again, those of you who are still interested in meeting.
We're deciding to meet Friday night from 7-9, for the joy of gathering, for the community building that can happen, for the experience of visioning or inquiring or relaxing or playing…. We know not what form it might take, but have confidence that there is connection and enjoyment to be had in the company of one another, in all our queerness.

We will be reaching out to others in our LGBT NVC community, inviting them to join us. We'll have a basket out for anyone who would like to donate, but it is only a request if workable for you.

We'd love to know if you're coming, so please let us know (if you haven't already).
Namaste, Kristin (and Dian)

Friday - Sunday, March 25 - 27, 2011

We've found gatherings of NVC practitioners who identify as LGBT have been mind-blowing - allowing us to move through issues that have separated us from one another and to "get" each other in deeper ways using an NVC framework and honesty, play and dialogue. We've found ourselves in puppy piles, gotten to the bottom of our old stories for lasting empathy, supported one another in healing, formed new alliances, and laughed ourselves silly.

This isn't just for activists, but is for anyone who has 12 hours or more of NVC experience who identifies as LGBT. We'll be surveying those who sign up to offer just what you want to focus on. This can include dealing with our intimate relationships, sexuality, claiming our authenticity, handling our internal critics, reaching over the political divide …

Join our own trainers from the East Coast (Brooklyn NVC's Dian Killian) and West Coast (NVC Santa Cruz' Kristin Masters) for a weekend that is designed for you, to meet your needs. We've decided to use NVC Santa Cruz site to keep costs low, and will ask locals to put up out of towners to build community and reduce costs. Of course, if you'd enjoy vacationing in a hotel or bed and breakfast, we can help you find a place that fits your profile.

Please help us by reaching out to others who'd want to come and play with queer community. This spreads through word of mouth, and your help can make all the difference.
