Join Us - Support NVC Santa Cruz

*Visit our Winter 2011-12 request for support*

Together we are building an organization that compassionately serves our community - making Nonviolent Communication accessible to everyone.
We invite you to join us in our mission of providing opportunities to learn lifelong skills for communicating with compassion, fostering mutual respect, and resolving conflicts peacefully. In this, we seek to create a world where everyone's needs matter.

Your financial support helps NVCSC launch and sustain the programs that we are developing:

Current Programs - funded through your generous contributions

- Scholarship Fund – for low-income individuals in support of our "no one turned away for lack of funds" policy
- Family and individual crisis support
- NVC Classes for Spanish-speaking parents
- Sliding-scale Conflict Mediation
- Free & low cost community-building events
- Diversity Outreach Program
- Supporting and developing skills of people in sharing Nonviolent Communication: NVC Community Resources

We are requesting that your financial support be given only from your heart (with no fear, duty, guilt or obligation), and thank you for whatever support you choose to give! You now have the option of using PayPal to donate; click the button to your left.

If you'd prefer to give by check - which saves us the processing fee - please mail your gift to:

Volunteer

We rely on volunteers to help out with publicity, support for community events, and grant writing. If you have skills you would enjoy donating to our organization, please contact us.

Thank you for your support!

Software we use: Dropbox! We keep backups & synchronized data across our several computers using this crossplatform utility. If you'd sign up for this service through this link, we'll get a quarter gigabyte more free storage!

Share what you've learned -
linking to us through Facebook!

Edit your Facebook education profile to share about the skills and experience you've gained through our workshops and series. Add a new college entry using our full name - Nonviolent Communication Santa Cruz - and clicks will be forwarded to our own Facebook page. This contributes to our visiblity as a source of support for practicing compassion.

You'll have the opportunity to add three 'concentrations' - some we've seen go like this: Listening for Understanding · Compassionate Communication · Beauty of Needs · Transforming Enemy Images… it's an opportunity to name how you've been empowered, skills NVC has contributed to.

As for class year… it can be left blank, or you can select the year you were introduced to us, or the year you 'graduated' from the Integration Program!

Thank you for naming us as having contributed to your learning

entering our page name- Nonviolent Communication Santa Cruz

And we both get credit:
