What’s Power Got to Do with It?

One of the beauties of NVC is its aim toward a partnership model. Yet, we don’t live in a power neutral reality. This series will take us into inquiries where we apply NVC principles and skills to situations with power-over and power-under, looking at managing our inner and outer worlds when oppression is operating in our midst. Transparently, we will look at our own reactions and find ways to meet them with empathy and warm resonance. And we will reach for ways to step up our game as allies and accomplices.

Since this topic has challenges for most of us to navigate, registrants must have at least 12 hours of NVC training. Kristin has over 25 years of training where issues of oppression are central, and she will be fresh from an International Intensive focused on Power and Privilege. Even if you’ve already explored this angle, expect material for new learning.
