Dedicated Practitioner's Program - 2012

note - Dedicated Practicioner's Program is intened for graduates of the Integration Program and people with similar experience

DPP 2012, Series with Kristin & Desiree

January 13th - Supporting our intentional futures
At this time of year, when people often struggle with resolutions, we'll take you on a journey of self reflection. We want to help you create your own meaningful intensions, instead of those resolutional demands that trigger rebellion and self criticism. We'll support a plan of action and proactive ideas in case plans go awry. Looking at our heart's desires in supportive community can really move things for all of us.

February 10th - Moving that stuckness
Does stuck suck? Especially when you're alone with it..... You'll want to join us in looking at and even applying compassionate understanding to our stuck places. We'll help you tease out approaches to regain empowerment, to uncover real possible choices and to feel into our yearnings.

March 16th - Real willingness- Now!
We can explore the continuum of willingness, from begrudgingly to happily. We can build an awareness of how that continuum feels and practice expressing it. Do you know when you are willing to sit with unmet needs and what supports you in doing so? All this and more, in service of our relationships with others. And all in the Company of the community of DPP'ers.

9/16 Money and the Exchange of Energy
This workshop is all about money. Where does your money come from? Where does it go? What beliefs do you hold about money? What does it represent to you? Bring your curiosity and contributions for exploring healthy relationships with money, and living our needs and values.

10/21 Harvesting Our Life Experiences
As we breath in the autumn air, we look to the seasons in our life span and choose to work with the experiences we want to heal and/or celebrate. Our experiential exercises will invite deep connection with our self and those in our dedicated NVC community.

11/4 rescheduled: 11/18
Counting Our Blessings: Living from Joy and Gratitude
Yes, the Holiday Season is approaching, and we're looking to connect with this next influx of energy by first exploring our own hang-ups, hang-ons, and hang-outs. We'll skillfully and tenderly support each other to "go in," so we can invite our "way out" to the fullness of joy and gratitude.

Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.

DPP 2011, Series 2 with Kristin & Desiree

Don'tcha love how the wisdom of NVC has helped you reach for ways to show up and connect with life? Even in ways that you used to think impossible?

We have chosen topics for the next three sessions to support us in that kind of reaching, drawing on the work of Miki Kashtan and Robert Gonzalez.

4/15 Authenticity and Vulnerability We'll gather to focus on the vulnerability of living with open hearts, authentically.

5/20 Interdependence and Generosity We will dive into the sustaining truth of knowing our interdependence, and ways that this knowing supports generosity of spirit in our relationships.

6/3 Significance and Feedback On these foundations we will stretch a bit further toward what we need in putting ourselves out in the world, exploring our significance and our availability for feedback.

We'd love to have company to play with for this, so this request: if you're willing, would you reach out to a couple of people you'd enjoy joining us at DPP for the coming months? Remember, DPP is open to Integration alumni and to others who have had a significant amount of NVC in other places. This shared skill and commitment supports our going deeply, together.

"We have put together some real treats for you for our upcoming offerings. This work hopes to nudge us at our edges." Kristin

January: Mourning, Releasing and Letting Go
A brand new year and we’re making room for all we want from it and for it.  How do we make room for what we want to bring forth?  We first get all comfortable, safe, and connected with our giraffe community, and then we open to mourn and let go of what is calling us to release.  Is it from our full life? Is it from this past year?  And we honor what we mourn so we can move on to the New Year that lies before us, waiting for our presence.

February: What's Love Got to do With IT?! * Love - Is it a Noun or a Verb? * Love is Letting Go of Fear * All You Need is Love * P.S. I Love You…
OK!  We guess you get the idea that this month’s DPP theme is all about love! Our exercises and explorations will have us in pairs and small groups to dive deeply into the places we have experienced wounding--to heal and expand our capacity to give and receive love.  We will celebrate the energetic field of love, explore the varieties and nuances of love, and bust open any Jackal thinking habits that separate us from love. Now doesn’t all this sound LOVEly?

March: Renewal…
…because it’s Spring! Renewal because NVC is so much about re-thinking our habits of mind, and bringing renewed energy and passion to actions that support vibrant needs and values. Come and renew the sense of compassion for yourself/your patterns/your personality as we explore what we want to renew in our lives. Renewal…because it’s never too late to reinvent the parts of ourselves that have held us back or encouraged our suffering. So let’s all come together and Renew-ALL!
