Nurture Your Relationship
NVC can improve your relationship by mending old hurts, clearing up resentments, and renewing hope. This weekend is a chance to cultivate and care for one of the most precious parts of our lives.
Aviva and Rick Longinotti: We enjoy sharing NVC with other couples because of the many wonderful benefits that it has brought to our lives. We have been teaching NVC for 7 years. Rick is also a Marriage and Family Therapist. During our 35 years together we have had many challenges and joys and are grateful for the benefits that NVC has brought. We have a son and daughter who are also happy that we have improved our parenting with NVC.
Armando Alcaraz has been practicing NVC since 2001 and has been teaching NVC classes in Spanish since 2008. Danusha Lameris is a local poet. They have been in relationship and practicing NVC together since 2004.
With support and compassion, we will:
• Look at how our habitual thinking can cause us to feel resentful and distant from our partner.
• Practice expressing ourselves with the kind of honesty that will not trigger hurt or anger in our partner
• Move from compromise to mutual satisfaction
• Gain empathy for ourselves and our partners

When: Friday, August 6 at 5pm until Sunday through lunch
Costs: There are two parts of the expense. First, the sliding-scale tuition, $600-300 per couple. (Scholarships are available.)

Commuters day use and lunches: $190
